This is an original 4” x 3” watercolor painting on hand-deckled Arches paper, float-mounted in a 5”x 7” wheat wood frame. Each mat is handpainted and gives a custom pop of contrast to each painting with a little texture added by the brushstrokes.

This series was born out of my increasing fascination and awareness of the birds around me. This year I’m keeping a list of all of the birds I see and the subjects in this collection all came off of that list. Inspiration in the daily!

This 5” x 7” frame can be either hung or displayed on tabletop.
