This is an original 4” x 3” watercolor painting on hand-deckled Arches paper, float-mounted on a 5”x 7” hand painted mat that gives a custom pop of contrast to each painting with a little texture added by the brushstrokes.

This series was born out of my increasing fascination and awareness of the birds around me. This year I’m keeping a list of all of the birds I see and the subjects in this collection all came off of that list. Inspiration in the daily!

This piece will fit in any standard frame with a 5x7 opening and does not come framed.
